✨ Client Spotlight: Donnie & Liz’s Next Chapter

Earlier this year, Donnie reached out to me as a referral from another agent in my office. He had purchased a single-family home in Southbridge back in 2020, but since then, life had changed in the best way — he married his wife, Liz, and the two were preparing to welcome their first child together.

With a new chapter ahead and plans to move into Liz’s home in Natick, Donnie decided it was time to sell. The property came with a few unique challenges — including a large retaining wall in front that made walking to the front door a bit tricky — but it also offered tremendous potential, with an acre of land, a pool, a spacious deck, and great outdoor living space.

We worked together to strategically position and market the home to highlight its strengths and attract the right buyers. Even with the challenges, we secured a strong offer and navigated a smooth 30-day closing, wrapping up the sale just before their baby arrived.

What meant the most to me was being able to take the stress of selling off their shoulders so Donnie and Liz could focus on what really mattered — welcoming their new baby and starting the next chapter as a family — without worrying about the house hanging over them.

Stories like Donnie and Liz’s are why I love what I do. Real estate isn’t just about properties — it’s about people, timing, and creating space for life’s biggest moments.

👉 If you know someone entering a new season of life and thinking about selling, I’d be honored to help make their transition just as seamless.

✨ Client Spotlight: Love Is Life Veterinary Clinic Franklin MA Is Now Open!

More Than Real Estate: A Mission That Mattered
Because real estate is about more than space—it’s about purpose.

Every once in a while, a project comes along that reminds me exactly why I do what I do.

Dr. April Paul and Emily Parker-Morse of Love Is Life Veterinary Clinic were referred to me after spending nearly a year trying to find a home for their mission—a nonprofit clinic dedicated to providing low-cost veterinary care to local communities, shelters, strays, and families in need.

From the moment we met (often in freezing cold parking lots and rain), their dedication was clear. They weren’t just opening a clinic. They were building something much bigger: a safe, accessible space for animals in crisis and for the people who love them but may not always have the resources to get them care.

It wasn’t an easy road.

Despite their urgency to open, we hit zoning challenges at almost every turn. Many landlords were hesitant about barking dogs or weren’t zoned properly for a clinic. Even in Franklin, where we eventually found the right fit, the property—although zoned commercial—still required a Special Permit and a ZBA hearing to allow a veterinary use.

But April, Emily, and the LILVC team never gave up—and neither did I.

Together, we navigated the hurdles, worked through town approvals, and found a location that will now serve the community with compassion, skill, and purpose. Their doors officially opened in July, and I couldn’t be more proud to have played a small part in helping that dream take root.

Because this job isn’t just about square footage or price per square foot. It’s about helping good people do great things—and making sure missions like theirs have a place to thrive.

✨ Client Spotlight: Pure Bliss Aesthetics Finds Its New Home

This month’s Client Spotlight is a personal one — and a story I’m incredibly proud to share. Over the past year, I had the privilege of helping my wife Joanna find the perfect space to expand her business, Pure Bliss Aesthetics.

If you’ve ever tried to find the right commercial space for your business, you know it’s not just about square footage — it’s about the vision. We explored both buying and leasing options and hit plenty of hurdles: from comparing costs and negotiating lease terms, to parking logistics and build-out plans. It wasn’t easy — and there were definitely moments of stress, fatigue, and second-guessing along the way.

But the journey was worth it.

On May 15th, we celebrated the grand opening of Pure Bliss Aesthetics’ brand-new location at 1100A Pleasant Street in Worcester — and it couldn’t be a better fit.

Not only did we secure a 3-year lease at a below-market rate per square foot (a huge win in today’s market), but the new space offers exactly what she needed to grow:
  • Three treatment rooms (2 for nurse injectors, 1 for esthetician services)
  • A sleek, professional setting with high visibility
  • Tons of foot traffic and walk-ins — something her old space didn’t allow
  • The ability to hire and expand — she’s already brought on two new staff members!

Pure Bliss Aesthetics now offers a full range of services including Botox, dermal fillers, vitamin and weight loss injections, anti-aging treatments, facials, and more. But more than that, this move represents a dream turned reality — and I couldn’t be prouder of her.

Helping her through this process reminded me that behind every business is a personal story, filled with emotion, pressure, and persistence. Whether you’re a first-time business owner or looking to scale, know that the right space is out there — and I’m here to help you find it.

Here’s to big growth, bold moves, and beautiful skin.
Cheers to Pure Bliss and all that’s still to come.

–Gary

✨ Client Spotlight: From Grief to Gratitude — A Probate Sale That Meant More Than Numbers

Selling a home is never just a transaction—especially when it’s a family home filled with memories.

Recently, I had the privilege of helping a client sell her late mother’s home in Attleboro. It was a deeply emotional time—navigating grief, probate, and the overwhelming task of preparing the home for market. She had the Power to Sell, and we worked closely to explore the best path forward.

The original plan was to list the home as-is in the $550K–$570K range—but I knew with some strategic improvements, we could do better. Along with my client, my team at Savvy Realty Group came in to help: interior painting, two bathroom refreshes, some new flooring, window sill and ceiling tile replacements, garage door updates, yard cleanup, and more. In all, about $20K of upgrades.

The results spoke for themselves.

After just the first weekend of open houses, we received an offer for $653,000. The energy and turnout were amazing—it was clear our efforts made a huge impact. Although that first offer ultimately fell through (a part of real estate we sometimes can’t control), we secured another strong offer shortly after. While it came in lower, the terms were very favorable and aligned perfectly with my client’s goals.

Most importantly, she felt supported through every step. In her words, “I didn’t just sell a house—I lifted a burden during one of the hardest moments of her life”.

This wasn’t just about numbers—it was about reducing stress, honoring her mother’s legacy, and making the process as smooth and respectful as possible.

If you’re dealing with a complex or emotional property situation, know this: you have options. Selling as-is isn’t the only path. The right strategy can ease your stress—and maximize your return.

If you’re not sure where to begin, let’s talk. I’m here to guide you, every step of the way.
